Hi! For this project, I decided to step away from hard-surface work and try my hand at environment art and foliage. I chose monstera because it's one of my favorite plants, and finding references was easy—I have three of them at home.
SpeedTree turned out to be an intuitive and enjoyable piece of software to work with. It's something I want to continue learning, especially to improve my skills at creating large, natural-looking trees. I went through the complete foliage production pipeline: from the initial SpeedTree draft to creating texture atlases and sculpting the leaves. I'm happy with the result, though there's still room for improvement, and I'm already excited to start working on my next plant!
